Performs other clerical duties as needed.Routinely communicates to PSR staff regarding day-to-day staffing and direction.Evaluates workloads, call volume, and efficiencies in collaboration with the manager.Assigns new patient appointments to physicians based on the day’s schedule.Provides follow up communication according to protocol via letter, phone or fax.Schedules patients for all appointments and procedures as instructed.Follows all policies and procedures for inbound call center and inbound fax queues as established.Triages all inbound patient service calls and responds according to the Central Intake protocol.Ability to perform all duties of a PSR and able to fill in and help in any position at any time.Acts as a first line resource for Patient Service Representative (PSR) staff.Provide coverage for the manager in his/her absence.ĮSSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include any or all the following. The Team Lead performs all the day-to-day operations relating to Patient Service Representative Functions. This position provides first line support of and troubleshooting for Patient Service Representatives in Portland Gastroenterology Center’s (PGC’s) Call Center.
